Information for Carbon Providers

These guidelines are for carbon providers wishing to be included in Carbon Catalog, or to update their listings. Please read this information before contacting us with questions.

November 2009 Transition

Until late 2009, the information in Carbon Catalog was collected from the public websites of carbon providers using a combination of automated software tracking and manual curation.

As of November 2009, it is now up to each carbon provider to keep their listings updated, using the online interface that we provide. This will enable Carbon Catalog to become a much larger repository of information for the carbon trading community. If you are already listed in Carbon Catalog and do not wish to participate, you may simply request to be removed.

Getting Started

If your organization is already listed in Carbon Catalog, an account has automatically been created for you, so please contact us for the login details.

If you are not yet listed, please register and then click the link to apply to become a provider. Please note that acceptance is subject to our approval. You must provide a valid website and sufficient other details to enable us to assess your application.

Terms and Conditions

You will not share your login details with any person outside the organization for which you applied. If you stop responding to messages at the email address provided, you grant us permission to reassign your account to another individual within that organization.

All information that you enter will be accurate and relevant to the best of your knowledge. You grant us the right to correct any mistakes or misrepresentations in this information.

You will not attempt to manipulate the listings on Carbon Catalog to create a misleading impression of your organization's activities. Any such attempt will lead to removal from the directory.

You grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the entered information on the public Carbon Catalog website and for other purposes. You will not enter any information for which you cannot legally grant us this license.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions by modifying this web page. The new terms and conditions will go into effect 30 days after the change is posted.
