Changbin and Taichung bundled Wind Farms Project - Taiwan
Description: The Taichung Changbin & Wind Power Project is on two sites on the coast of Taiwan and Taichung Changua provinces. The project reduces the emission of CO2 emissions by replacing electricity generated from fossil energy sources. Besides CO2 emissions and air pollutants, such as NO2 reduced. This is an important contribution to improve the very poor air quality in the project region. As wind power had in the project area beginning of the project accounted for 0.7% of electricity production, this project can be viewed as a pilot project.
