Dora I 6.5 MW Geothermal Energy Project

Description: This project is the first private geothermal power plant in Turkey to operate, and the first to employ the specific “Organic Rankine Cycle & Binary technology” to increase efficiency. The Salavatli geothermal region has been identified to have high potential for electricity production which up to this point has not been taken advantage of by the private sector due to the high transaction costs of research activities The project is located in a remote place, far from any residential areas due to potential risks during operation.
