Guangdong Lankou 26MW Hydro Power Project
Description: The Guangdong Lankou Hydropower project generates clean hydroelectric power along the Dongjiang River. It is a low dam hydropower project with an installed capacity of 26MW, generating an output of 80,070 MWh. The power generated will be exported to the heavily coal-dependent China Southern Power Grid and the Guangdong Provincial Grid. The project will displace coal-based electricity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
