Guanting Wind Farm
Description: The project consists of a wind park with 33 turbine generators which produce approx. 98.9 GWh of energy per year. The energy is fed into the regional grid to displace carbon intensive coal-fuelled power, and it contributes to a reduction of SO2, NO2, and NOX emissions in addition to the reduction of carbon dioxide.
The Guanting wind power project is one of the projects that supplied renewable electricity to the Olympic Games.
