Guanting Windfarm to power 2008

Description: The project consists of 33 wind turbines with an installed capacity of 1.5 MW each. An annual 98.9GWh of electricity is being supplied to the North China Power Grid, displacing an equivalent amount of mainly fossil-fuel based power generation. The Guanting wind power project is the first large-scale use of wind power in the Beijing area.
