Inland Empire Biomass Digester
Description: The project is a landfill methane collection and destruction system. The project covers nearly 70 acres & handles approximately 160,000 metric tons of waste each year.
Cow manure is taken from fourteen local farms, broken down, and converted into methane. Conversion of the gas to electricity provides a clean, renewable source of energy.
