Jishou Small Hydro

Description: The proposed project activity is located upstream of the Wushui River. The proposed project activity will employ two turbines with total installed capacity of 8MW. The average annual generation is 30,170MWh, and the amount of electricity supplied to the grid will be 28,231MWh. The proposed project activity will provide renewable hydropower to the Central China Power Grid, and displace generation from thermal power plants of the Central China Power Grid, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
