Lishiluo Erji Small Hydro

Description: The Lishiluo Erji 6.4MW Small Hydropower Project in Yunnan Province is a renewable energy project, the Project will produce positive environmental and socioeconomic benefits and contribute to the local sustainable development through following aspects: * To contribute to local economy development by providing electricity to meet local increasing energy demands * To reduce GHG emissions and to mitigate the emissions of other pollutants caused from local coalfired power plants compared with a business-as-usual scenario by displacing part of electricity from fossil fuel-fired power plants; * To be in accordance with the development priority of China energy industry, and to help improving the power composing of CSPG by increasing the share of renewable energy; * To create plenty of short-term employment opportunities during the project construction period and 20 permanent jobs during the operation time for the local people.
