Mexico Biogas Plants
Several wastewater treatment plants near the Mexico/USA border that remove and treat food waste from surrounding diners and restaurants. The process of treating waste water ensures that the surrounding environment is protected from damaging pollutants released into local river systems. In addition, the methane recovered from these projects can also be used to power on-site electricity needs in a renewable manner.
