Patsari Cookstoves Project

Description: Fuel wood utilization in rural Mexico is an unsustainable practice since biomass is mainly obtained from non-renewable sources, with regulations for forest management poorly enforced, and the most common cooking devices consist of simple three-stone open fires. The project activity will distribute, monitor and provide long-term maintenance of efficient Patsari cook stoves.
