Renewable Energy for Women

Description: Growing sustainably produced fuel wood, a community can generate local employment while reducing the amount of CO2 generated. This project is complemented with the construction of fuel efficient fireplaces, which are equipped with chimneys that reduce the amount of smoke released into the home. This has huge health benefits for the women who traditionally spend most of their day by the fire.
