Rio Frio Hydroelectric Project

Description: A small run-of-river project being developed on the Rio Frio River near Honduras's borders with Guatemala and El Salvador. The area is one of the poorest in Honduras, with among the lowest levels of access to electricity in the country. The full project development is expected to total 3.4MW, to be built in three phases.
