Run of River Hydro Power

Description: The project activities comprise six run-of-river hydropower stations exporting renewable electricity to the regional grid and replacing electricity from fossil fuel based power plants connected to the Central China grid, therefore reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The project activities have contributed to sustainable development with significant contributions to social, economic and environmental well being.
