Rural South West China Micro and Small Scale Hydropower Grouped Project

Description: The Rural South West China Micro and Small Scale Hydropower Grouped Project consists of several hydropower plants. The project activity generates electricity from run-of-river hydropower. By exporting electricity from the renewable energy source to China Southern Power Grid (CSPG) and to the Central China Grid, the project activity will achieve greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions by displacing electricity from fossil fuel based power plants connected to the grid.
