Sandaoqiao Hydropower

Description: The proposed project activity is a diversion type run-of-river hydropower station. The project employs two turbines with a total installed capacity of 30 MW, and is expected to operate 5,246 hours per year. The generated electricity will be transmitted to the Central China Power Grid displacing electricity generation from fossil fuel fired thermal power plants connected to the grid, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
