Santangou Hydropower Stations

Description: Two "run-of-river" or "diversion type" hydropower stations with total installed capacity of 4.5 MW. The natural flow and elevation drop are used to generate electricity. Since no dam is require, flooding and community relocation are avoided. An annual power generation of 20,250MWh will be fed into the Central China Power Grid.
