Description: Shanshuping is a run-of-river hydropower plant. The electricity generated by the proposed project will displace part of the electricity generated by Central
China Power Grid which is dominated by coal-fired power plants, and thus greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions could be achieved. The average annual emission reductions of the proposed project are estimated to be 49,038tCO2e.
