Soil&More Cape Town Composting

Description: The goal is the production and sales of so called controlled microbial compost (CMC). This compost production replaces dumping of organic (green) waste at municipal waste dumping facilities and other places where the waste would decompose anaerobically, leading to methane emissions into the atmosphere. This project is a combination of 2 sites, all of which are licensed under Soil&More Standards. This project has a major sustainable development contribution, as the soils are severely degraded due to chemical fertilizer use, and this state can be reversed by organic fertilizer use.
