Description: The purpose of the project activity is to generate electricity by using the renewable hydro resources to meet the ever-increasing demand for energy in the region. The development of the project activity is reducing and would reduce the Green House Gas (GHG) emissions produced by the western regional grid generation mix, which is mainly dominated by fossil fuel based power plants.
