About Carbon CatalogCarbon Catalog is an independent directory of carbon credits. It gathers information from dozens of carbon providers, making it easily accessible in a single place. The goal is to increase transparency in the carbon market by making it simple to compare different providers and find the right project for your needs. The site offers:
Carbon Catalog is a free service which does not sell carbon or have commercial relationships with any projects or providers. Until late 2009, the information in Carbon Catalog was collected from the public websites of over 100 carbon providers. Beginning in November 2009, providers may now log in to easily maintain their listings - more here. Carbon Catalog apologizes for any errors or omissions, but can accept no legal responsibility. Carbon Catalog was created by Gideon Greenspan and launched in September 2007. Most of the new version (late 2009) was built by web developer Aaron Weiss.
